PSU Flex and the Design System: A Headless Digital Experience Platform

A design system for Penn State, the future of web design at the University, powered by a Contentful CMS. Using the principles of Atomic Design, our team has created atoms, molecules, and components that can be reused across the enterprise. Highlights include: a growing library of 30+ fully responsive components, a web-specific style guide, detailed documentation, and content strategy best practices. First two sites will be in production by August 2024. The stack includes Contentful CMS cloud based infrastructure, Next.JS, Vercel, Storybook, and Chromatic.

The Power Rangers Committee is one of several groups throughout the university that is focused on exploring possibilities with process automation and the use of the Microsoft Power Platform. We and many of our colleagues have become comfortable using Microsoft Forms to collect information, but what do you do with it once the user hits submit? During our interactive presentation we will show you how easily you can use Power Automate to make that information useful to your users.
