Organizations are using low-code tools like Power Automate and Power Apps to accelerate digital transformation, empower non-IT "citizen developers," and improve daily workflows. As adoption increases, so do new challenges: security concerns, duplicated efforts, inconsistent solution design, and uncertainty among users regarding where to find guidance and support.

Drawing on real examples and lessons learned, this session highlights how our Power Platform Community of Practice can support innovation while suggesting guardrails, promoting reusable solutions, and strengthening institutional knowledge.

Attendees will be able to answer the following questions:
• Why use low-code tools?
• Why use the Microsoft Power Platform at Penn State?
• Why participate in a Community of Practice?
