Across the Commonwealth Campuses, classroom technology must do more than function — it must be predictable, supportable, and aligned with instruction. In this interactive session, the Classroom Technology Solutions (CTS) team will begin with a concise overview of our service offering: how we consult, design, and coordinate projects for campus classrooms across the state.

We will outline how our service and standards reduce fragmentation and long-term support costs; and how collaboration with campus IT teams ensures classrooms are built to last.

Then we turn the session over to you.

This will be an open “Ask Me Anything” conversation designed for IT professionals across the University — especially those from the Commonwealth Campuses — to ask candid questions about classroom design, design tradeoffs, governance, project coordination, lifecycle planning, support models, funding alignment, or where CTS should evolve next.

Whether you’re curious about the AV technology we use, wondering how to navigate a complex renovation, or looking to collaborate more effectively, this session is built for dialogue. Bring your questions, challenges, and perspective.

Our goal is not just to present a service — it’s to strengthen a statewide partnership around learning spaces that work reliably for faculty, staff, and students.
