Jonathan Kukta currently serves as the Director of Business Services and Operations at Penn State Schuylkill. In this role, he reports to the Campus Chancellor and oversees facilities, operations, information technology, telecommunications, risk management, sustainability, emergency management, conference services, real estate, events, community outreach, and local government relations. He also acts as the liaison to University Police and Public Safety (UPPS), Housing and Food Services (HFS), and Barnes and Noble on campus. Additionally, Jonathan serves in a dual role, reporting to Sara Thorndike as the Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Finance and Business/Treasurer. In this capacity, he coordinates training, development, engagement events, DEIB programs, special projects, communication, and strategic initiatives for the 6,400 employees in Finance and Business. He also serves as the CWC liaison to the Directors of Business Services for the 20 Commonwealth Campuses. Jonathan is in his 22nd year at Penn State and has worked at the Berks, Hazleton, Lehigh Valley, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and Schuylkill campuses during that time. Currently, Jonathan is also the Vice President of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) East Region.
