Using their mobile devices, participants will learn a set of photography best practices paired with Adobe Creative Cloud’s Lightroom editing skills to create engaging photographs and experiment with AI presets. Led by Ryan Wetzel and Stephanie Swindle Thomas, photographers who are part of Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology, this activity will serve as a nice way to anchor a sense of place and community among conference attendees.

Participants will be provided with prompts to maximize their creativity while capturing conference moments and details, which they will have the opportunity to share via an online gallery using Padlet. While this opportunity is designed for everyone of all skill levels and backgrounds, it will be especially beneficial for campus communicators, web specialists, and social media managers who use photography in their roles at the university.
